india-based crane manufacturer Cranesmith has retrofitted three Hand Operated Travelling (HOT) cranes at Udupi Cochin Shipyard in Karnataka, India.

The upgrade transformed one 10 + 10-tonne crane and two 3-tonne cranes from manual to Electric Overhead Travelling (EOT) crane systems.

The project included new hoists, a motorised system, and essential safety features to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.
